If you haven't been to RG in years, I highly suggest you return just to see the gardens. Whoever is in charge of landscaping is insanely talented and they spend a fortune on gorgeous crystals/rocks throughout the park. Early July and beyond is when you will get the best views of flowers and plants in the garden. Your entry counts as an annual pass so you can go for a quick walk in the park when you want to be outside and see a ton of beautiful plantlife. Ok except for little boy who wanted to stand in front of us during alligator show
I really had no expectations when I booked tickets for my hubby and grandson and me. I have been to reptile venues before and they are kinda stinky and dirty. This place blew my mind!! It was spotless and the grounds were beyond beautiful! We adored the snake and the gator shows! The employee who conducted those shows was engaging and cheerful and entertaining. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone! I enjoyed it immensely!
This was great! Not far outside of Rapid City. A huge collection of reptiles. The snake show was great. If you go in once and take a selfie with the season pass sign, you can enter through November. Excellent side attraction.
