If you are experiencing a sports injury, acute or overuse, Dr. Angela is the person you should see to recover and return to an active life style. She is the only person, of the 15 or so health professionals I've seen throughout the Bay Area about my injuries, to correctly diagnose my initial injury, identify my current recovery needs, and give me the training program that successfully set me on a path for a full return to activities. I came to Angela after nearly two years of chronic hip and knee pain from running and pregna... read more
Working with Dr. Gary Schneider has been a game-changer for me in dealing with patellofemoral pain syndrome. Before I started with him, I couldn’t bike, run, or lift weights without sharp pain, which was super discouraging since I'm an active person. Dr. Schneider tested my movements and based on my pain response customized my rehab plan. He explained everything clearly and kept me motivated, which made the whole process a lot less overwhelming. In less than eight weeks, I’m back to biking at the same level I was before, my ... read more
I had left knee pain from running down mission peak in Fremont which got worst over the years to the point it hurts every time my knee would bend from sitting or getting up. Also, I had minor shoulder pain from probably desk office work. I wasn’t able to walked down steps and had limited mobility with my left knee. Through many weeks of physical therapy, my left knee strength has developed and I don’t think too much about the pain as much. I no longer have issuing bending my left knee. I’m able to perform step downs. Physica... read more
I came to re.PHYSIO with lingering neck and shoulder issues after a concussion. As a PT myself, I had already tried self-treatment, massage, and strength work, but nothing stuck until I worked with Angela. Her approach is 1-on-1, super personalized, and focused on actually getting me back to lifting. The fact that she treats in a gym was a huge plus because she has access to real equipment (DBs, KBs, barbells). After spending a few months working with her, I was able to incorporate overhead press, benching , and do some plyo... read more
Before coming to Dr. Angela, I was having lots of pain with my left shoulder/trap neck area from gym sessions and slightly with my right knee from ballet. The pain really limited my ability to go back to the gym. When I started my plan of care with re.PHYSIO I started to see progress in my shoulder and trap area again. My goal was to no longer have pain in the mornings with my neck, and after consistency working with Angela, the pain was no longer there. I'm now able to do overhead movements at the gym again with ease. It to... read more
