We will never rent from this company again! They also go under the name Rent-a-Wreck... and it was a wreck! It took over an hour to pick us up from the airport. We kept calling the phone number and would get elevator music and a hang up. When we got to the rental facility, there were only computer screens with virtual agents. It took over an hour to get support from a virtual agent, and then when we did finally connect with someone, they told us that what we paid to book the reservation through Expedia was only a prepayment.... read more
If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place is trash avoid at all costs. We got this a Priceline they choose special. I am disgusted that priceline would even allow this place to do business with them. Ive never had so many hidden fees.
If you have any respect for yourself, STAY AWAY from these company!! I rented a car from them via Expedia for $65. I wanted to use my own primary car insurance and the minimum required CDW by Texas law, which the car rental has to provide themselves when you rent a car. However, they forced me to pay $75 more for the CDW (they wanted around $150, but when I insisted, they gave me a “discount”!). I had the same experience as many people below. I have never had a car rental place give me such a big issue with rental insurance. I told them I had it already, and they refused to void the fee because my insurance policy wasn’t under my name. In addition, they wanted to charge me $1000 for deposit, but the guy dropped it to $500. The guy tried convincing me that he “upgraded” my car with no extra charge, but they only had 2 types of cars…(what upgrade?). Today, we waited for two hours and asked us to wait for him to pick us up at Exit 105. As a result, two hours passed, and no phone call came. We waited hungry for two hours, which made us so angry!
