High quality work that was well worth the wait! Our hand me down armchair and couch set was in rough shape. We got great help with fabric selection and placed our order in late November. Our furniture was picked up in February and returned in March (5 week turn around). Although it was a bit tough having no furniture for the month, the time frame felt very reasonable given the size of the set. Have 40yr old formal dining room chairs that still had the original seat cushion fabric and foam, which needed replacing. We debated about buying new chairs or having our old ones reupholstered. Stopped in and talked with Mike and Sidibe. We are so glad we did! Their expert craftsman replaced the foam and fabric and the chairs are better than when new! Just had my sofa and ottoman delivered to the house. The furniture looks brand new and the sofa is much more comfortable with the new padding added. If you have well made furniture don’t replace with new. Reupholstered furniture is the way to go and Rendels reputation in Ann Arbor as the best is well deserved.

I have used Rendel's Upholstering over the last 20 years. Recently they did 2 MCM chairs and a MCM couch. All the work was done with care and excellent craftmanship. Besides that, Mike at the front desk and all their staff have been nothing but helpful. Kudos to them.

We have used Rendel's services numerous times over our four decades in Ann Arbor and not only have they been uniformly pleasant to deal with, they have also been responsive to our scheduling needs and generous with advice and assistance on DIY projects. Most importantly, they have done a great job in repairing and updating our furniture.
