Today I bought Nigar with California rolls. The fish in the pack was wonderful but the rice was thick gluggy mass. Prawn summer rolls in rice paper were very full of salad with 3 fillets of prawns but hiding in there was crab meat much to my horror. I didn’t have reading glasses on to read the full label. Honestly so annoyed that a product I was buying for freshness had a highly processed product in it. Since Ritchie's took this supermarket over, the range and presentation has dropped significantly. It was always expensive but now it's not worth it in my opinion.
Love this supermarket. Good quality produce. Please stop stocking Israeli products. We cannot support a genocidal regime.
Ever since it was then over and rebranded a Ritchie’s, this place has gone downhill. The prices have skyrocketed and the so called promotional pricing is ridiculous. Today the standard Cadbury blocks of chocolate with a sticker that said “price matched” and the cost was $8. What was it price matched to? A service station? The 2nd star, rather than 1 is only because I’d rather support them than Coles or Woolworths.
