Beautiful selection and I came in fully planning to purchase a handbag and a couple of dresses. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the staff repeatedly reminding me that the store was closing — first 20 minutes before, then multiple reminders again at 10 minutes. The same thing happened yesterday as well, even though I arrived over 30 minutes before closing. Great selection of higher end women's fashion clothing, costume jewelry, and purses. Lots of designers like Louis Vuitton, Missoni, and others. Leather jackets. Even some stuff for pets, like a LV dog collar and leash.
Money wasted. I thought this was a great store but after coming back home I found that the $75 dress (last sale) that seemed so high quality was not so at all. As soon as I put it in water, it started releasing black ink. Contacted the store and practically blamed me, saying that I washed it, which is not true. I live too far away to go back to the store. So disappointed in their response.
Ethically questionable business practice. No, you don't have to call every consignor when their clothing is sold. And the fine print does warn that checks must be picked up within a year. But you COULD send a check for the money owed the consignor in a timely manner...just as most other consignment stores do. It IS our money after all, and you DO have our addresses on file. A little disappointed after bringing my leather jacket home. I found out it’s vegan leather and can’t find anything on the brand online. $300 for pre owned faux leather doesn’t feel right and it seems I’ve been scammed. Definitely research any product before purchasing because there are no returns and sadly you can’t trust that items are priced/labelled honestly.
