My husband has been there a couple of times and this last time he wax suppose to get therapy and he most of the time he stayed in bed. I told them he was a fall risk and there answer to that was we’ll lower the bed for him. It’s gone down hill and when I’ve called to talk to someone in charge I couldn’t get a hold of them or even when I went to the facility same thing. Do not take your loved one to this place. They said they have skilled nurses. They do not. They say they can assist dementia patients. They can not. My love one was s. Abused as a young woman. She now has dementia. So she does not like to be in the room with men she isn't familiar with. The first time I met the staff I told them this. Today, I had the pleasure of coming to Remington of Richardson to complete an assessment on a patient moving to our Assisted Living community. During my visit, I was in awe of the caregiver on the 2nd floor named Curtis who was assisting the resident we were assessing. This job is not for the faint of heart and he went above and beyond to help us! His smile and infectious attitude was 5 star! He truly seemed happy to be caring for his patients.

I was sitting in my Dad's room today and the cleaning people came by to swiffer/mop and clean the room. They were extremely attentive to the details and making sure the room was clean. This is one of the things I love about this place. Cleanliness is so important for people who may be immobile. Many thanks to the cleaning staff for doing such a great job!!!!!

Don’t be fooled by the so called 5 star rating they have. The rehab program is good but the nursing services are very poor. If you are in need of nursing care along with rehab stay away. Had my wife and I not gone there that Saturday morning and saw my mother-in-law‘s oxygen level was in the high 70s and low 80s even with 6 liters of oxygen, and very lethargic and weak and not wanting to eat anything she would not have made it through the weekend.
