TLDR: Fire ROBERT RAHRLE, Movers are great, Robert Rahrle will try and hustle you, go with a more reliable service. OVERVIEW
Edwin & Chris - our movers were amazing and as a two man team they did a great job.
However, Robert Rahrle didn't inform them that we live on the 3rd floor of an apartment with no elevator. TIME MANAGEMENT
We scheduled a move to happen between 7am & 8am - But, they didn't arrive till 11am - During that time - we called Robert multiple times asking where they were and what happened with no response. We had that time specifically set so when it got pushed back it pushed back our day plans - When Robert Rahrle FINALLY called he tried to blame us that we didn't pick up our phone the day before and that he had screenshots that he tried to call us - But, he never did. (Note that Robert Rahrle will blame you for things - You'll see a common thread here) PAYMENT
Before our scheduled move on July 24th - Robert Rahrle informed us that if we paid cash, we would get a discount - so we withdrew the $1000+ to get the discount ⬅️ (remember this part as it will come up later on in this adventure) As we came closer to the date of move - We called Robert Rahrle to further understand what that said discount would look like - He said that they aren't doing hand to hand cash anymore due to COVID, which we understood, But at the same time
a) He acted like COVID just happened yesterday
b) He should have informed us that this discount was no longer happening sooner DURING THE MOVE
Edwin & Chris - THE BEST PEOPLE for the job. The movers had the job done in a timely manner and are very personable people. POST-MOVE
Once payment came around - We were told by Robert Rahrle that Apple Pay & Zelle were the best methods of payment. So, went with Zelle as the payment method - Because it was my first money transfer with the service and a big amount - I had to call PNC to clear it - I called, but their customer service line was closed as it was after 10pm. We called Robert Rahrle back to talk about the issue - He then said that we should pay by cash and that we would get the discount, at this point we grew quite frustrated with Robert Rahrle as we put all the cash back into the account to use the payment methods he recommended. Furthermore, when we did come to a conclusion of payment - I had to give my card details over the phone, send a photo via text to Robert Rahrle of my bank card & drivers license - Felt uncomfortable with this as my Wife & I had our cards hacked two days prior. When I said to Robert Rahrle that this doesn't sound right and that I felt unsure about it - Robert Rahrle then says Why doesn't this sound right? You're the one who is making this into an issue (I wish I was joking) CONCLUSION
If you wade through the nonsense and stupidity of Robert Rahrle - This service is great, they're definitely affordable and the movers we had Edwin & Chris made this whole experience better.
