I wanted to get a new recliner for my mother-in-law who is in assisted living. She has problems with swelling in her lower legs and has been told she needs to elevate them. Her current recliner would not raise the legs high enough without lowering the back which makes it difficult to watch TV. Relax the Back put us onto a Medical chair that the back and the leg rest operate independently. It has infrared heat therapy, Swedish massage and is also a lift chair.
