Avoid buying from Reid as they no longer have in store service. My battery got water damage (meant to be waterproof) and you are very limited in getting service or replacements since the batteries used are foreign, and Reid offers no support. Would not recommend. Another review suggested bike stores like 99 bikes which offer a lot of service options with many bricks and mortar stores, I 100% agree with that.
Now Reid appears to be an online only seller of bikes. (Certainly so in Sydney.) Poor after sales service. Zero empathy when things go wrong with your bike. Also trying to contact them on the phone is awful. My recommendation would be to utilise a place like 99 bikes who have many bricks and mortar stores and therefore can service your bike and be a trusted advisor in person, if things go wrong.

Very disappointed. I bought a bycicle a few weeks ago and I had a couple of problems with it, the quality is definitely not good. I contacted customer service by email many times and I still haven't received any response... Never again.
Would love to know why they closed this store down - would also love to speak to someone senior. Shocking online and over the phone customer service. This online model they have moved to is cost saving rubbish. Customer service representative is absolutely rude and abrasive. Forgot her name, but she is no help.
