Worst service ever DONT BUY A BIKE FROM REID CYCLES you'll never get a warranty claim settled no physical stores on online call centre to muck you around 3 months still waiting and no refund for pre-paid services!!
Recieved our brand new beautiful bike, upon unpacking, the pannier rack was deeply marked/scratched. Reached out to Reid cycles/bikesonline straight away thinking no big deal, I will send the damaged one back and they will supply another undamaged one to match the brand new bike. Well here we are 3 weeks later, they are refusing to supply anything other than a $50 gift card or a $50 refund. Multiple emails back and forth. Avoid buying from Reid as they no longer have in store service. My battery got water damage (meant to be waterproof) and you are very limited in getting service or replacements since the batteries used are foreign, and Reid offers no support. Would not recommend. Another review suggested bike stores like 99 bikes which offer a lot of service options with many bricks and mortar stores, I 100% agree with that.
Now Reid appears to be an online only seller of bikes. (Certainly so in Sydney.) Poor after sales service. Zero empathy when things go wrong with your bike. Also trying to contact them on the phone is awful. My recommendation would be to utilise a place like 99 bikes who have many bricks and mortar stores and therefore can service your bike and be a trusted advisor in person, if things go wrong.
