On April 18th, my 95-year old mother was hospitalized with COVID. She was a resident of The Rehabilitation Center of Santa Monica. Up until April 17th, the facility had made us aware of three COVID cases and assured us repeatedly that everything was under control. On the 18th, I read on the State of California's list of nursing homes with COVID cases that The Rehabilitation Center of Santa Monica had 14 residents who had tested positive. One MUST monitor the care of one's family member! Incompetence is rampant! Negligence also is very prevalent. The personnel, from top to bottom cannot be trusted or relied upon! I've had to blast "the help" OFTEN!!!! I've tolerated ineptitude for more than 16 months!!!!
