Whatever you do if you love your family member then don’t bring them here. They will deteriorate quicker than normal due to the lack of care and attention to patients and their mental health. They let a man wander all hours of the night who has dementia and who has a history of violent and abusive behaviour and whom attacked / hit my nan while in the dining room where multiple people should’ve been able to deescalate the situation and protect her. I cannot thank Regis and their staff in Tiwi Darwin enough for their wonderful care and kindness to my brother in law. The staff all gave him affection and attention and at a sad time were supportive to his family and friends.
Dad spent his last few years here before he passed on. Started in the age care and then ended in the dementia ward. All the staff, nurses, cleaners, cooks treated my dad with the care, love and respect he deserved. When he left you could tell they cared for him. Thank you all for being so good to dad.
