Today was fantastic! Yvonne and her team from Oxley Regis Lifestyle Department organised a combined choir from Regis facilities to sing some great songs together. Everyone looked like they were having a joyous and fun time. I was lucky to be able to watch the whole concert from Melbourne via video. Well done to all the residents who sang in the choir and a huge thank you to Yvonne for making it such a great day.
As the son of a resident at Regis Oxley (aged care), I am very disappointed and angry with the way the standard of food has dramatically deteriorated since my mother entered there. There has also been a noticeable drop in standard of foods since Regis bought out the facility from Rockpool recently. Meals are often lacking various components, eg, breakfasts lacking bacon in the "bacon and eggs", real orange juice being replaced by cordial; and meals with very tiny portions that leave residents hungry and then needing to suppl... read more
Regis Oxley is wonderful! The surrounds are peaceful and tastefully decorated, the rooms and main areas are clean and comfortable, there is kind caring and attentive staff, the residents are happy and smiling, the activities are varied and interesting, the food is excellent! I'm so happy we chose Oxley Regis for my father!
