I opened a new account via telephone last week after seeing their promotional checking account last week. I tried setting up zelle this evening. The app and website both would not let me. When I tried the help chat through the app I was told I needed to call in. I called in and was transferred to a representative who could not fix the issue but would transfer me to someone who could. Banking sure has changed over the years. Don’t bank with this company but received a check for payment from someone who banks at this company so I went there to cash the check & was told it would cost $10.00 to cash it since I didn’t have a account there. Needless to say I went to my own bank & will never have anything to do with regions bank again.
Staff was quick...I will say, I have a credit card with them, but not a bank account. I can't pay my card using the app, I can't pay my card by phone, I can't pay my card online. I can only pay my card in person or by US mail...its 2026 Regions, get with the program.
