My wife visited to open a student checking account for my daughter (14). The representative was reluctant stating they don’t normally open accounts for minors and maybe if she was older. I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at the Regions Bank McDonough branch was extremely troubling. I visited the branch to complete a routine business wire transfer. My wife and I have been married for 11 years and have banked with Regions for over four years. Shirelle M Jones is the most incompetent person that I have ever sat down with at a bank! She inputed so much wrong information that my account was frozen for more than 1 week for suspicious of fraud. When I got my debit card, even my name was spelt incorrectly! You have my ID & passport in front of you & you still open an account with incorrect spelling! She kept telling me the address on the utility bill doesn’t match my ID!
