Im an African American & a business owner in Hilton head island. I went in to cash a check that a client gave me, It was a cashier check. The Hispanic lady looked at the check and looked at me and said that she cannot cash this check and that she has to order. I said I’m sorry, order what exactly I’ve never heard that before. The lady said she has to order cash to be delivered to the branch and that it will take 3 weeks! Hilton head island is not for black people and black business owners. Terrible. Worse bank I’ve EVER BANKED WITH. Wouldn’t cash my check even though I banked with them, on top of that the bank teller got an attitude with me, then I gave her one right back. So they closed my account because I got “irate” with her. I’ll gladly take my money else where. Y’all constantly screwing people anyways. Stay blessed.
