I’ve banked with Regions for decades and can’t wait to leave. I unfortunately have my mortgage through Regions so I am forced to deal with this bank. Absolutely forget the idea of service. There is never someone able to answer the phone at any branch. If you go to the branch, they NEVER have enough people. I’ve had to go to the branch many times, and you can expect to wait 45 minutes to an hour to be seen. Very unsatisfied with the bank. I was forced to open an account to cash a check written on an account from someone who banks with them. I closed out the account today and they had taken "fees" out. Apparently, they pentalize you for not having a large amount in the account even though it was presented as no charges for such. Very unhappy with the whole ordeal.
