I like Regions bank!! Bank there before, but this time I was getting just a safe deposit box (you can get that without an account) and I opened a saving account just to make sure things could get paid without me having to go to the bank. She was super nice, conversation was wonderful.
The staff at Regions are polite and respectful, but the financial advice I received was terrible. I went in to apply for a secured credit card with my own money, but I was advised to first apply for a regular credit card. That was denied, and then the secured card was also denied. Following their advice about other credit usage also caused my credit score to drop by almost 100 points. Very disappointing experience, especially considering I keep significant funds with Regions.
