I attempted to do a cash withdrawal and the teller asked me for my PIN to accomplish this. I would not give him my PIN and he would not allow me to type it in myself, so I couldn't get any money today. I have done this before and never had to give my PIN, so not sure if policy has changed or what. I have always been told to never give anyone my PIN, so not sure if the teller was attempting to scam me, but it was definitely very suspect. This was at the Signal Mountain, TN branch.
This branch and its managers, Levi Halverson and Alex Van Senus have been ever so helpful each time I met with them, but the top people in Birmingham should do more to prevent fraudulent charges and, once I've disputed them, go after the perpetrators and get me a refund from them. I have been banking with Regions for almost 20 years and the employees are always friendly and helpful. If I ever have a problem they are available to assist me as needed. I am very pleased with Regions.
