NOPSI began to lose money on the system as the prosperous post-war years changed people's travel patterns. I just called today at 4:16pm 8/5/2025. I’ve been placed on a long hold for a simple question. Every time I call back I get another hold then hang up. There’s no need for attitude. I’m the one trying to catch the bus not yall. Very rude. Yall just don’t know who you hung up on.
Driver's are rude and lazy don't care keep stopping the bus to talk on the phone smoke cigarettes pitiful service
Most unhelpful company
Drivers who do not notify passengers when they are taking a break. They step off the bus and say nothing to passengers and walk away. A very dispassionate supervisor told me that some do notify but in my experience, Ive never seen it. Supervisors who have no real answers to queries. Slow arrival times, limited amount of buses on routes(including the #11 Magazine bus that seems to only have 3 buses running on a 1 & 1/2 miles). Very poor planning for residents when events in town. Local use this for daily transport and cannot depend on the services. Signage is not correct and people get angry due to the long waits to get to destination.
