Regency Law purchased the former Leggatt Keesmast & Dixon (LKD) practice, which had always been a reputable, patient, and tolerant firm — especially with elderly clients. Hired Regency for an Estate litigation but experienced serious delays and missing documents. A court order was mishandled and took months to process, even though I was repeatedly told it was already in progress. These issues created major challenges with deadlines. I’ve filed a formal complaint with the Law Society of Ontario. The list of missteps is deeply concerning. My new lawyer has advised they never even ask the opposing counsel for responding record for over a year.
