This 1941 Zenith radio/record player was given to me after my grandfather passed away. It has been stored in my basement for 45 years not working. Working with Ben to get this air loom working again was awesome. Ben is a perfectionist when it comes to detail, and his workmanship is beyond great. He informed me every step of the way on what needed to be done, he said it would take about 3 weeks to fix, and it was completed in about 2 weeks. Brought my Hallicrafters communications receiver to Regal Sound Design for restoration. I was super happy with Ben and the work he did on my radio. He went through the chassis and replaced all of the components that were out of spec and it got a full set of new tubes. Listening to it now and it works great! If you have an old radio that you would like brought back to life I would highly recommend Regal Sound Design!
I recently came into possession of a broken radio that had been my late Father's. Ben promptly replied to my inquiry and was able to very quickly repair it. He kept me up to date through every step in the restoration process and now I am in possession of a radio that works even better than I remember it sounding in my childhood.
