Redsands Campers is hands down the best rental company we have ever met. Their Hilux is built and equipped extremely well. If I were to build my own 4x4 camper pickup truck, this is how I would want it. What’s more, the company is superb when something unexpected happens. We had a mechanical issue caused by material defect (none of their fault). Redsands was quick to react and went out of their way to have it fixed. Hired a standard 5 person camper and couldn't have been happier! 3 weeks travelling from Darwin to Broome via tough roads in Purnululu, Mitchell Plateau and the Gibb River and it didn't miss a beat. Tyres made it through too thanks to onboard compressor and great instructions. Had everything we needed in the camper for our trip and loads of storage. Loved it! The car, the instruction experience, the support on the road, the transfer to the airport, the luggage storage, etc. Both Henrico and Wayne did a great job! ;-)

We hired a 2-person, 4WD camper ('Andrew') for a 5 week trip from Broome to Darwin across the Gibb River Rd, including Mitchell Falls and Purnululu. Andrew was fantastic and allowed us to visit places that would otherwise have not been possible, performing flawlessly, despite bone-jarring corrugations, deep river crossings and endless dust. RedSands staff were great, and we are already thinking about possible future trips (maybe Perth to Broome).
