In 1970, Earl and Mary Redner bought two small supermarkets near Reading, Pa., and started the first chain of employee-owned supermarkets in Pennsylvania. The stores were operated as IGA Food Stores franchises until 1979, when the company began operating its stores under the name Redner's Markets. No Card The biggest plus to this place is I do not have to clutter up my wallet with one of those stupid loyalty cards to get the sale prices. Always some great weekly specials.
Manager is incompetent and inaccessible. Waited 20 minutes to clarify a price discrepancy..went back and grabbed the sign with price on, showed him and he refused to honor the price. On other visits I witnessed him walking around doing nothing while his deli department was short staffed and had to close early. No corporate phone number to call and issue a complaint

love this place. The prices usually the workers too. But today however Katrina was rude, eventually she apologized but it was just the point that she was like that in the first place.
We moved near Redners last year and really like it. I love that they are open 24/7. Their prices are pretty good and I would say their staff is very nice. Clean store. I like their salad bar and fried chicken too.
Good Shopping at Redner because might like Shopping there.
