This was a deeply upsetting and stressful experience that could have been easily avoided with proper communication. When I booked my appointment at this notary office, I was not informed that there would be dogs on the premises. Had I known, I could have asked for accommodations or chosen a different office, as I have a severe fear of dogs. When I arrived, I walked through the hallway to speak with the receptionist. I had a very upsetting experience at this notary office. When I booked my appointment, they did not inform me there would be dogs present. I am extremely scared of dogs. When I arrived, two dogs appeared — one barked at me — and instead of helping, the staff accused me of “acting scared,” which was very unprofessional and insensitive.
