I loved the historic building and I really loved the local artists’ work. What I didn’t love was my personal experience of walking in and staying over 30 minutes without so much as a hello or any acknowledgment, which has not been an experience I’m used to walking into a gallery. Cute. First time visit while in Red Wing. Been through on Amtrak but this was interesting to see inside the depot station. Beautiful art work. The local artist I was looking for wasn’t in the system. Neat to see the guitar making exhibit.

Whenever I have people visiting from out of town I try to bring them here. It’s a great little gallery that supports local art. The people who work here always have information on the artists and what’s going on around town. Plus it’s in the historic, and still used, train depot. What more could you ask for from the perfect small town attraction? It’s a wonderful way to support the local community.

Welcoming, beautiful and the Gallery has so many local artists wares and surrounding artists as well. Children’s books will be available this month so go check it out and then stay for the food and local flavor of this gorgeous water city !
