Joe is an extraordinary talented Texas Metal Artist, pushing the boundaries beyond the tumbleweeds and badlands in raw metal works and in upcycling and repurposing interesting application of various types of metals. You can find many of his sculptures across the Lone Star State Texas and a grandiose Texas Sizes Longhorn even big Tex would be proud to ride located on Hwy 380 just West of Throckmorton. It's bigger than life! Great work Joe and keep em coming , it's a pleasure to know you sir.

Joe Barrington’s artwork is no less than absolutely amazing in form, detail, and presentation. His very often mesmerizing works span the gamut from the abstract to the surreal, and from the miniature, to life size, to the absolute gargantuan. His Red Star Studio is located in the very small mid-Texas town of Throckmorton, well off the beaten path between Wichita Falls and Abilene Texas where Highways 183 & 380 intersect.
