Had a mechanical issue (cable broke at the head on my shifter) on my ride near Morrison- dropped in the shop and met the owner who had the part I needed. I installed the part in the parking lot and he helped me with clipping the wire and crimped the cable end. Great guy and great local shop.
Ever wonder where the local bike shop went? I found it. What brought me in? A special on a great bike . Called up, the owner confirmed it was there and the bike was all that described. The owner is knowledgeable about bikes like a encyclopedia. I am a newbie to bikes and he didn't make me feel like a dork at all. He has some preowned stuff and every tool known to man. Mark was awesome! We had called to rent bikes the day before but upon arrival realized we had called a bike shop (same name) in Utah. Thankfully, Mark had a bike for us to rent and pointed us to several local trails. His recommendation was on point for what we wanted to explore nearby. I would rent from him again!
Bike tech was extremely rude and tried to charge me 5$ to cut the frayed wire hanging off my dropper post...it only cost 4$ for the cable to be cut and installed origionall....worst bike shop on the front range, don't go unless your rich!
I've been an avid cyclist for 25 years - road and mountain - best shop I've worked with. It is rare to find a small, independent shop like this. Great knowledge and service.
