Used to be awesome. Brought in 3 bikes for tune ups. Left with 3 bikes I had to take somewhere else to fix problems we didn’t have before. - broken chain first ride after tune up - leaking valve stem that wasn’t an issue before - rear brake cable frayed to the point of failure. Had to replace. - front tire brakes so bad couldn’t even make 2 full revolutions - rear brake not much better. Prices used to be better. Service used to be awesome. I heard they got a new owner and now not so awesome. 🤷♂️
They were a pleasure to work with! My son had been eyeing a bike for months and couldn't find it in Michigan or the right color one in Ohio. They were able to ship it to us and made it a very easy process!! My son is extremely happy with his bike and hat to go with it!! Thank you so very much from here in Michigan!
Y'all this place is INCREDIBLE. I am a bike traveler who came in with a broken freehub body. Between my friend and the bike shop mechanic, we were able to take apart the wheel and diagnose the problem. The mechanic at Red Mountain cycle answered all my questions the 3(!) times I came in for help and was very nice and courteous. In the end, RMC was able to replace my freehub body with a brand new one, and helped me to adjust my axle to accommodate the slightly different dimensions. This place rocks, always helpful and always quality products
Jocelyn has a keen eye, and knows how to diagnose and solve repair problems. She noticed splintering on carbon spokes several other shops had missed. Key detail that led to replacement of the spokes and avoidance of potential wheel failure. She also repaired a tricky press-fit bottom bracket problem on a racing carbon frame - the other shops had not been able to resolve - due again to her keen eye and dedication to solving the problem. Excellent mechanic and over the years I have worked with dozens - she is a natural.
