awsome little book store I LOVE them they always have great deals and its when you bring in your used books and pick another out its 50 cents a trade they have perfect in shape books my favorit little book store in gresham
Good 'hole-in-the-wall' bookstore. I've shopped Dakota a number of times and have always found something for little money. The espionage/war/political section is small compared to other sections - the harlequin romance section for instance - but most of what is there is quality stuff. Quite a few out of print titles when I've looked. The ladies that work there are very polite and helpful and I've never had a bad time dealing with them. I even asked about a Summer job there once but with such a little place they are about max... read more
Find another used book store The staff is very rude. The store charges you full retail price against the store credit you get for the books you bring in. I got 4 books on 9/18/08 that average $8.35 per book. I had $30.25 in store credit and paid $3.13 in cash.
Average used book store I always stop in here, though, because I can find 1 or 2 out-of-print paperbacks that I'd like to read (I like sci-fi). It's really good if you like romance novels - they take up about half the store! Otherwise, give yourself some time to browse through a lot of garbage to find a few must-haves. They charge half the cover price, minimum 75 cents, I believe.
