High expectations but sadly disappointed. Lovely quiet location and lovely fresh fruit salad for breakfast. The cooked breakfast was generous which is more than can be said for the continental breakfast. The Rectory advertises as a 5 star hotel but it is a B&B. The bedroom was spacious and the shower was good, however attention to detail is missing.
Beautiful property exceptional service outdoor pool - go there you won’t be disappointed
A delightful place to stay. Our room had a large balcony which was a blissful place to sit and hot weather meant we made good use of the pool. Very comfortable and quiet.
Now in my top 5 places to stay in Britain. We loved every minute of our stay. Friendly, attentive staff, lovely location, beautiful grounds, excellent facilities and a great breakfast.
Every aspect of our short stay was nothing short of fantastic. A wonderful retreat run by wonderful people, you simply could not ask for more, we will be back as soon as we can, we absolutely loved it.
