I've officially reached the end of dealing with all the issues of this recteq deck boss 800—from multiple pellet jams, to not igniting, to being in the middle of a cook and just dropping to 145 degrees or lower. I moved from offsets to a recteq pellet to make smoking and preparing meals easier and it has been everything but easier. Our Recteq grill lasted only 4 years and the side rusted through... a big hole! We asked for support/help and were told that they only warranty for 2 years. Wow! That is an expensive grill for 2 years of use. This lack of customer service is what earned recteq a single star. Also the rep said that we caused it, insinuating we didn't take care of it. I do not recommend Reqteq Pellet Smokers. I was disappointed with the performance of hte Reqteq 360 Bullseye pellet smoker. It leaks grease everywhere, making a mess during every cook. The only "solution" offered was to use aluminum pan that you have install and remove manually - not exactly what you'd expect from a premium smoker. To make things worse, customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, repeatedly suggesting to pack ash around the base of the fire pot or use pan instead of offering a real fix.
