I had originally met Jessica Eddins on BetterHelp. In our first session, she told me to send an email to her private practice, Recovery Journal LLC. Originally I was going to switch over but then I began to hesitate and decided to stay on the BetterHelp app. Then Jessica retaliated against me by claiming I was an active danger to myself and others, basically slandering me. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences l've ever had. The therapist showed up to our session at a public library with their newborn baby, which made the entire meeting chaotic, distracting, and completely inappropriate for therapy. There was no sense of privacy, no professionalism, and it felt like my time and concerns were an afterthought.
