I love this store and hunting around. I always find the most unique things. However, you do need to be very careful as I find more and more vendors (not the store itself) putting stuff they’ve bought from home goods and ikea in their booth and marking the price way up or listing it as vintage. You need to know what you’re looking and paying for. For instance I found an ikea planter that’s $13 in IKEA and was priced at $24 in a booth. I find stuff from home goods marked as vintage all the time.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. The treatment we received was disgusting and completely unacceptable. I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome in a store before. It was very clear that we were being treated differently because we weren’t white. One woman kept following us around the entire time. Every time we stopped, she would stop nearby and watch us. My daughter and I had the best time here today! We went looking for things for her new apartment and ended up finding so many treasures for both of us. My favorite find was a large painting of a bicycle with baskets overflowing with flowers. It reminded me so much of Amsterdam, where we just visited, that I knew it was coming home with me. What a gem of a place! I can’t believe we didn’t discover it sooner. Such a fun place to browse, and you never know what you’re going to find. We’ll definitely be back!
