Rude salesperson ( woman). Need to learn from the friendly young girls and boys around her.
Went in to purchase a weights bench that they had advertised online and was in stock. Approached the front counter where there were four staff. Was told they have no stock on floor to show me; no they wouldn't open the box to let me see the bench before I purchased it. I was told to try other Rebel stores. They wouldn't check to see what store had the bench on display. Poor customer service. Ended up buy from Rebel in Newton who were very helpful.
Lots of stuff. Turning into a cheap as chips outlet. Shoes are great and some clothing. Lots of gimmicky toys to clogg up the garage and eventually landfill. Unfortunately not much made in Australia. Everything seems made in PRC or elsewhere. I would like to see local responsibly made products of good lasting quality. Found PTP FIT exercise balls made in Australia so bought 3.
Went in to talk about hiking shoes and sports bras. As a trans person it's SUPER nerve-racking making those steps to ask questions(about sports bras, not the hiking shoes) but the people here were SO lovely and so helpful! I made an informed decision and purchased accordingly 🥰
