As a diabetic that suffers from diabetic neuropathy & does 6km walks 4 days a week, I spoke to my podiatrist & she recommended the brooks GTS 25. I tell you what I googled the name of each brand for walking. These are the best shoes for long distance walking from best to worst. Brooks was the best followed by ASICS, Nike, Addidas & under armour. The brooks GTS 25 was by far thee best brand in terms of maximum cushioning, support & comfort. Walked into this store on the Tuesday 7th of April 2026 & was looking for a good walking shoes called ASICS GT 1000 I was quite impressed with the walking shoes shout out to a lovely helpful lady called Lisa.
