I had a savings account with this bank for years. It was kind of "under the mattress" money. When I opened the account, I was told that there would be no fees, but after a year, I started getting monthly "dormant" fees. I rarely checked my statements so by the time I realized it was going on, I was short $60. I mentioned it to management and they refunded $5. Really? What's the point? I'm so glad we went with Reading Cooperative when opening our first joint account. The bank manager, Nick, is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He sat with us in his office to open the account and walked us through the entire process. He even printed our new debit cards right on the spot! The listed hours at Reading Coop are actually their hours, and they're well-staffed, friendly, and helpful. (My partner's been with BofA for decades.
