I had a service contract for a new generac generator that rcs replaced with my new generator damaged in Hurricane Ian. They did a good job at that time. After that i had a service contract with them to service the unit annually. Last year they told me they serviced it and said it was only running on one cylinder and that they thought it was an ignition coil that was bad. Had a rather expensive generator service a couple weeks ago...guy was here for 40 minutes. $400. I start my generator on the first of every month and I went out to start my generator today and saw that the gentleman who serviced my generator left the power on so now my battery does not have a charge and I cannot use my generator… Remember $400 generator service to keep my generator operational.... I go out to use it today not operational because the tech left the power on....YOU OWE ME A BATTERY!
Called to inquire about a portable generator & transfer switch estimate. Heather was friendly and said someone who services my area would call me and set up an on-site visit. A week goes by and no call. I don't know about all the 4 star reviews but my experience with RCS was not very good. I had to move on to another vendor.
RCS is a wonderful company to work with: professional, caring, and definitely up to the job! My experience with Rafael and the two workers who came and worked hard in the sun to make sure I had a working generator before the hurricane season is commendable! I definitely, without hesitation, do recommend RCS Company to anyone looking for a reliable and prompt company for their generator needs!
