I came to the branch and lined up because i wanted to close my credit card permanently. The indian lady that I talked to said I can do it ONLINE. I’ve been looking for it online and there is no option to close it. AND WHEN I TRIED TO CALL RBC CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY SAID THAT I CANT CLOSE IT MYSELF. WHY ARE THE EMPLOYEES SO FREAKING LAZY?! CAN’T YOU JUST HELP PEOPLE? I WASTED MY TIME GOING IN THERE.
After an issue at the 17 St and 23 Ave branch where they wanted to hold my regular USD cheque for 30 days and apply a $100 fee on it, I went to this branch. I explained what happened, and the teller listened patiently and politely. She spoke with the branch manager here, and he agreed that this should not have happened. Don't bother setting up a business account with RBC. If you have to pay vendors they make it extremely difficult to pay large invoices and charge extras for everything! Customer service is all overseas call centers as well so don't expect anything great from those interaction either.
My experience with RBC is very bad don’t open your account with this branch they irritate you every single step very bad staff and Management and they didn’t know the rules and regulations
