Garbage location. Terrible customer service. Rude workers, no one was friendly and staff that helped me were condescending.
I've been banking with RBC for over a decade and generally speaking I've had nothing but positive experiences both online and in the branch... until today. I needed to deposit a US cheque so I walked into the Ice District Edmonton branch and cheerfully approached the front desk. Not only did this woman have a miserable look on her face when I walked in the front door, but when I told her I had a US cheque to deposit she coldly said 'we don't accept those'. I booked in an appt with Harshad Vichare, to open an account with the promo iPad, account an RRSP and potentially opening up a credit card for my partner. I came in with my partner as I take care of all of our finances and when they said RBC is great for RRSP I went ahead and book it there to start saving up. As to our disappointment, Harshad from the very first sentence he said, was not welcoming and wasn’t pleasing at all.
