Do not even bother going in this branch Worst in Winnipeg! Really bad management
I have never experienced such incompetence in a bank before. Due to a suspicious call, you blocked my account without protecting my interests. The operator told me the only way to unblock it was to visit a branch in person with my ID. I drove 120 km to the nearest branch, only to be told that my driver’s license isn't enough and I need a second piece of ID. This is absolute bureaucratic nonsense.
I was fortunate that with two tellers and around 3:30 pm, I waited less than 5 minutes. I could not use the ATM because I req'd a teller. My teller was personable, and knowledgeable and helped me with my business in a routine manner, inquiring if anything else she could help with. I thanked her and then left.
This RBC branch is probably the worst I’ve ever encountered. Over the years, I’ve had numerous problems with them, ranging from mortgage issues to cheque deposits. The most bizarre incident involved another RBC branch doing the exact same thing without even asking questions. This place is definitely the worst in Winnipeg!
Oh where to start. ATM ate my card. Beyond the slowest service in the world in the branch. Oh and the are ageist. I wrote a letter to the branch manager, she called me but never responded. I wish I could give em negative 5. Go drive to Pembina and Oakenwald, a real RBC branch. Went again - treated like a common criminal. And I am a white man. Hate to be a minority here bet they treat you like scum. Why oh why didn't I go to pembina??? Sigh.
