This was my third visit to this branch and as aspected horrible experience. Long waiting, the employees are chatting to each other without worrying about the clients and the staff also untrained asking even for the simplest things to each other. When you want to talk to manager or assistant manager you can’t find them. Overall they give you a list excuses instead of what you came for. If there was zero star rating I would have left that. Thanks RBC

I waited for 20 minutes in line for them to tell me that RBC can’t do US bank drafts for individual customers anymore, only for business customers. So, it’s possible to do it, they just choose not to. A company with $16.2 billion in profits last year taking services away from their clients instead of adding them (not to mention the waits in their banks). I had a very disappointing experience at the RBC branch on Fraser Street. I went in to replace my lost debit card and was assisted by Sanchit, who was incredibly unhelpful. Despite explaining that I urgently needed access to my money, he insisted that I could only order a new card online, offering no immediate solutions. When I asked for help setting up e-Transfer—since it was linked to my lost card and had never been set up—he flatly refused, saying the only option was a draft. Long wait lines. There’s only 2-3 people at the desk while the others are chatting around on the side. One of the female staff is rude and not professional. She brought up asking how my mom can’t speak English for no reason and won’t stop chewing gum while speaking with us. She does this every time. They need to hire more people or make sure staff don’t go on break when there’s six plus people in line. They never have four staff supporting despite two more open tables. Worst RBC Branch I went to. I thought the first time I went was unusual but went the 2nd it’s even worst. Been to branches which a lot busier but when there’s already 3 people lining up the Manager would go out and help or ask some Bank Specialist to go out and assist their clients. This Branch, they don’t care. They don’t deserve even 1 star. Trust me, they don’t care, 16 people lining up with 2 Bank Tellers.
