Extremely disappointing banking experience: I opened a TFSA savings account for one year, and when it was time to renew, I asked the bank to set it up so I could access my money while still earning interest. After 7 months, I found out that my money had been transferred to a checking account without my knowledge, meaning I lost all the interest I should have earned during that time. Terrible experience with this bank. The advisors are not well informed in terms of RBC's products and gave incorrect information on the next steps. The only thing this branch is good for is to withdraw money.
My worst experience was with that bank, specifically with that branch, on Friday, October 5, 2024. They bullied me because of my visual impairment, refused to help me, and showed feelings of hatred towards me because I was wearing a chain with a religious symbol. I want my rights and I do not recommend going or dealing with these employees. I want an immediate investigation and I want my rights.
Every time I’ve had to go into this branch I’ve had a poor experience. Today was the last straw for me when I was explaining my situation to the teller and she constantly cut me off and gave me attitude for no reason. The level of unprofessionalism at this branch is quite literally embarrassing for a group of adults working for a financial institution.
