Worst customer service and rudest staff ever. If I could do zero stars I would. I was standing in front of these 2 people for a few mins thinking they would help me or at least greet me. They didn’t even look at me or acknowledge me while speaking a different language. My dad went to this branch for help transferring funds from his RRSP mutual fund account to his RRSP self-directed account because he struggles with technology. The first time, the branch told him to call instead, so he left and called RBC customer support. They told him to visit a branch for guidance, so he booked an appointment and met with Lynn Liu from RBC. She said she couldn’t do the transfer for him and told him to use the app.
Teller is good. Bank and bank system are sucks. They cannot provide fast services. Crazy line up all the time.
An employee at this bank named Snow was very unfamiliar with the procedures. While helping me open an account, she forgot several important steps, which caused me to go back multiple times to fix the issues—essentially having to repeat the entire process. This created a lot of unnecessary trouble for me. Additionally, she repeatedly interrupted me during the appointment and spoke over me, which was quite unprofessional. I sincerely hope RBC will take employee training more seriously.
