I went to deposit a cheque from my home sale and the teller looked at the cheque, looked back at me and said “that’s it?” Which I found incredibly rude to be commenting on my financial status in that way. This was at 10:50 am on 23/04/26
Excellent experience at the RBC branch on Wellington. Jacob, the branch manager, went above and beyond helping me with a more uncommon issue. He printed the forms, helped fill them out, took ownership of the matter, and made sure it was resolved properly. Cohen the account manager and the counter staff were also very helpful, professional, and welcoming. I highly recommend this branch for anyone needing banking help or opening a personal or business account.
I just had my fiance head into the bank to finish a deposit for me and the lady who served my fiance not only was extremely rude to her but told her that she will take her bank card if we went against what the rbc likes, honestly such a horrible experience i think ill be switching banks whoever manages this branch should look into it. Thanks for the 2 years rbc but ill be leaving after this experience
Very poor and slow customer service. The manager is clearly not training the staff properly — they seem unprepared and unable to resolve even simple issues. The waiting time in line to get an answer to the easiest question is 45 minutes. The staff do not know the procedures, and in my case, it took them an entire month to figure out the reason for my credit card delay. Overall, an awful and stressful experience every time I come here.
