I had a very disappointing experience. The staff behaved unprofessionally and, at times, in a manner that felt discriminatory. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this bank.
1 star is beyond generous for the Lakeshore branch of Royal Bank of Canada. My group and I were asked to leave, and based on how the situation was handled, it felt like it was because of our skin colour. Watching others remain in the branch while we were singled out was humiliating and unacceptable. The staff were dismissive, unprofessional, and offered no clear explanation for their behavior. I’ve always received great service from account managers Sona Kovalcikova and Michael Ewing at RBC Lakeshore Branch. Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Heidi Hamed, Branch Manager who helped me directly with an on-line issue. She’s friendly, efficient and professional. I highly recommend this Branch. Vince
