Trying to book a virtual appointment with this branch is like pulling teeth. Twice now, I've tried to book an appointment over the phone or virtual conference through the app since my schedule doesn't always allow in person meetings, and I've either not received a call, or never received a link to join an appointment as promised even though I receive notifications about my upcoming appointment. So, I've spent one hour in this bank learning that they will be happy to open both chequing and investment accounts for me, but they will (very likely) not issue a credit card. They did not check my credit score, credit history, or income supporting documents; they just did not want to go beyond the script. And I talked to both the clerk and the manager. This is a drastically different experience compared to the other banks in the city.
Worst experience I’ve ever had at a bank. Staff is rude and unprofessional and it’s as if they don’t want you banking there. If I could could give them a -5 star review I would
