I am very disappointed with the customer service I received at this RBC branch. It was my first time transferring a large amount of US dollars, and the teller did not explain my options or inform me about the potential financial impact of the exchange rate being applied. Opened my account online and went to the branch only to activate it. Emma handed me a temporary debit card, assured me everything was fine, and rushed me out the door without even checking whether my online banking was properly set up. I won’t mention any names here, but RBC bank and staff at this particular location are the most incompetent people ever. The bank as a whole is a failure and will mismanage your funds, and if something like fraud happens, they will do everything and try to blame you for it even when there is abundance of objective proof that it was a true case of fraud.
