I got a car loan from RBC back in March 2024. Paid it off by the end of July 2024. Whoever handled the closing, didn't take steps to release the lien. Being a new car buyer, I had no idea that I need a lien release. Now, in 2026 when I went to sell that car (as is due to mechanical issues), I was informed the lien wasn't released and I couldn't proceed with the trade-in and proceed with the new vehicle purchase. I’ve been there me and my wife for her to order a new credit card because her new credit card was sent to our previous branch in New Brunswick. We was received by the old lady on the extreme rights desk counter. She told her that she moved her branch to this branch and she did she told me that she did the same for me and she told her that she ordered her a new credit card that it will come home address, but it didn’t.
