Customer service from RBC is at an all time low. Tellers tell you to call in or do everything online. Online and call center tells you to go into branch. Take so much of your money and the service in return is horrible. Switching to Servus, where you actually get to talk to humans on the phone and get excellent customer service. We are pulling our mortgages, lines, and all cards/accounts. Done with RBC.

Every time I come to this branch - busy or not, the works stand around gossiping half the time or pretend they are busy while staring at their screens but not typing. The bank reps will give you misleading information as well - I stupidly trusted one of the bank representatives, and because I listened to his advice my credit went down 70 points. This location is absolutely terrible and RBC should be ashamed as a “reputable company” for hiring staff that do not put customer satisfaction first.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful help I received from Kunjana Kafke at the Emerald branch in Sherwood Park. She helped me maneuver through closing the bank account for my recently deceased brother. She was kind, sympathetic, professional and a calming presence to this emotionally tense person. Thank you Kinjana! Deeply appreciated.

Tyler MacLean, Mutual Funds Representative, RBC Emerald Hills provided caring and compassionate client service to an elderly woman whose husband recently passed away. Tyler immediately knew the appropriate form to conduct the transaction and collaborated with another RBC staff member remotely to ensure and expedite compliance. Tyler was very kind to step out of his mutual fund duties which attests to his knowledge and expertise. Outstanding!
